The Mentz Million Scholarships™

In collaboration with the Global Academy of Finance & Management (GAFM®), Commissioner George Mentz and MFC have pledged up to $101 million in scholarship benefits over time.

This global initiative provides financial aid for educational programs, certifications, and professional training, with a focus on serving:

  • Ethnic minority students

  • Disabled individuals

  • Military veterans

  • Peace officers

  • Other marginalized groups worldwide

The mission is to expand financial literacy, management skills, and professional education to those who need it most.


Stewardship of UNESCO Lands

Beyond charitable giving, Commissioner George Mentz is the Lord and Advocate  of the Protection of more than 20,000 acres of UNESCO-protected property in England and the USA, particularly within Mentz's historic Lordships of Ennerdale, Stoborough, and Blondel.

Mentz is dedicated to the protection and conservation of:

  • Ancient forests and woodlands

  • Pristine lakes and rivers

  • Majestic waterfalls and mountain ranges

  • Historic ports and waterways

  • Ancient Celtic Ruins and Lands
